Historical Spaces: A Visual-Music Experience was created to encourage people of color to take some time and enjoy America's National Parks, Park Rangers, and present a Visual-Music history lesson of The 500 Buffalo Soldiers who served in Yosemite National Park and nearby Sequoia National Park.

The National Parks are a place for all people to explore, relax, and enjoy nature’s beauty. To encourage people of color to visit the parks, Samuel is currently composing music specifically designed to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the parks. Additionally, highlighting the accomplishments of Buffalo Soldiers, the African American cavalry, and infantry responsible for protecting Yosemite National Park and other western parks in the late 19th century. Visiting the parks can be a powerful experience for people of color. Together, music and the inspiring story of the Buffalo Soldiers will help to encourage and empower them to visit and explore their national parks.
